Reviews and Ratings
My daughter and I had to eat in the parking lot due to minimal seating in the room, but the spacious room with a jacuzzi tub and patio was nice. The hot tub and balcony added to the experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even offering us a room next door. The location, although a bit awkward, is perfect for exploring downtown Mystic with a great view from the deck. However, the dining options were disappointing, and improvements are needed in customer service and breakfast selections. The pool and the restaurant were highlights, but there is room for overall improvement in the facilities. Price may not match the value offered.
The hotel had some positive aspects like being very nice with accommodating staff and an outstanding room, however, the rooms were relatively small and not as expected. Additionally, the dining experience, while offering a sufficient variety of breakfast items, wasn't outstanding and had slow service.
The hotel is set on a small hill outside of town, overlooking the river with a convenient location. The rooms are large but poorly set up with a huge jacuzzi that may not suit everyone, and the service is a bit untrained with some issues. The dining experience lacks variety, but the facilities are adequate for a comfortable stay.
The hotel provided a clean and nice, yet quite dated, stay. Despite some minor drawbacks, my experience at the hotel was pleasant overall.
The inn is located conveniently near attractions in Mystic, offering picturesque views of the river and bay. While the staff was generally helpful, the ambiance lacked a distinct separation between areas which affected the welcoming feel. The dining options, particularly the cold items, could be improved, but the inn's proximity to a lovely breakfast venue adds to the appeal. Overall, a tired but serviceable stay.
My daughter and I had a bit of a challenge with the room as it offered minimal seating, so we had to improvise to eat. However, the bed was fairly comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a spotless Jacuzzi tub. The cleanliness of the room was not ideal, with peeling paint, bugs, and a dingy interior. The moldy smell was quite off-putting. The service, on the other hand, was extremely attentive and pleasant, with the staff being helpful and willing to accommodate our requests. The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and within walking distance to some attractions. The dining experience was quite disappointing, with limited options and some service issues, although the price was reasonable. Overall, the place has great potential but needs improvements in certain areas.
The hotel offers good value with updated rooms featuring balconies overlooking the water, although it is in need of a major spruce-up. The service was excellent but marred by an unfortunate incident. The location is perfect, with beautiful views and great seating outside. The dining experience had both positive and negative aspects, and the facilities were satisfactory.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a substantial bathroom and a sea-view balcony, all at a budget-friendly rate. The service was super friendly, and the location, although not perfect, provided easy access to Mystic downtown and Mystic Seaport. The dining experience was satisfactory, offering a nice variety of dishes. The facilities were good overall, catering to my needs during my stay.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious enough to fit two people comfortably, and I loved the information about local attractions provided in the room. Although the decor is a bit older, everything was extremely clean and well-kept. The service was top-notch, with the staff being nice and very helpful, especially when we had a minor problem with our room. The location was excellent for exploring the area on foot and was within walking distance to shops and restaurants, offering a great view. The dining experience was adequate, with an onsite restaurant and bar offering a jazz brunch, although it could have been a bit better. The facilities were great, and I particularly enjoyed the fire pit available for guests. Overall, a great value for money stay!
The hotel had a unique room with a large hot tub and a real fireplace, but it felt a bit older and run-down. The service was friendly and helpful, with staff always willing to assist. The location was outstanding with beautiful landscape and convenient access to downtown attractions and water views. The dining options varied from uninspiring to enjoyable, but a discount was available in the restaurant on weekends. Overall, a mixed experience with some positive and negative aspects.
